My Tribute To David Gilmour. A Custom Strat I built for ME with him in mind

Disclaimer for purists and angry ultra-fans: This isn't like any of David Gilmour's guitars. I know that, don't need floods of fervent emails. This is a Stratocaster I customized for ME with inspirations of David's music and instruments AND MY MUSIC and my guitars.

I found a nice Fender FSR Straight Six guitar (very pleased after the first one). I wanted very badly to play a DG20 electronics set with my own tweaks and my own guitar customizations.

Thus was born my second FSR Straight Six custom. A tribute from years of listening to David, and from years of thinking about an active Strat.

Factory DG20 electronics

Tweaks
An "F" neckplate
Four springs

Hand applied nitro coating on the thumb side of the neck

Here are some pictures!
