Some first-shot pics of my blue Gibson Explorer Melody Maker
These pics aren't the quality that are going into my written reviews, but I thought I'd post the rough-idea shots so you could some some of the finer points of the guitar... The ones from the online stuff don't quite give this much angle...
The Explorer Melody Maker is a reduced-size Explorer... compared to my Gibson and Epi Explorers, this guitar seems to be a few inches shorter, and a few inches less wide.
It does have the Melody Maker neck, which feels a little shorter than the regular ones, but it plays fantastically.
Interestingly, the weight isn't much different from my Korina or mahogany Explorers - since these particular Melody Makers are made from maple.
Are these mini-shaped guitars or they full size bodys?
