Some first-shot pics of my blue Gibson Explorer Melody Maker

These pics aren't the quality that are going into my written reviews, but I thought I'd post the rough-idea shots so you could some some of the finer points of the guitar... The ones from the online stuff don't quite give this much angle...

  1. Are these mini-shaped guitars or they full size bodys?

  2. The Explorer Melody Maker is a reduced-size Explorer... compared to my Gibson and Epi Explorers, this guitar seems to be a few inches shorter, and a few inches less wide.

    It does have the Melody Maker neck, which feels a little shorter than the regular ones, but it plays fantastically.

    Interestingly, the weight isn't much different from my Korina or mahogany Explorers - since these particular Melody Makers are made from maple.
